STYLIDEAS Intellectual property rights for the STYLPRO:

The STYLPRO was invented in 2016 by Mr Pellereau during the course of his employment with STYLIDEAS LTD. Therefore, under English law, STYLIDEAS LTD owns the intellectual property rights in the STYLPRO. STYLPRO was launched in February 2016.

All STYLIDEAS Ltd Copyrights may not be reproduced or edited to promote, market or sell without written permission of STYLIDEAS Ltd.

STYLIDEAS Ltd has many Pending or Registered Trademarks. Below is a summary of the registrations for STYLPRO.

Automatic Design Rights:

Mr Pellereau is a British citizen and the STYLPRO was first made available to the public in the European Union. Consequently, the STYLPRO is protected both as an unregistered Community design and by UK unregistered design right.

The laws of many nations provide protection for original products. Laws of the EU and other countries give STYLIDEAS “Unregistered Design Rights”. Laws of other countries, such as South Korea and Israel, give STYLIDEAS rights under “Unfair Competition Laws”. 

These Rights are a kind of Intellectual Property Right different to Patents, Copyright, Trademarks or Registered Designs. These Rights give STYLIDEAS protection preventing copying of unique products or features of them. In laymen's terms they prevent someone from taking a unique product or component and exactly copying it and selling it as their own.

The STYLIDEAS LTD StylPro has many unique components. STYLIDEAS have discovered that many of these unique components have been directly copied in ways that infringe STYLIDEAS Rights. The Manufacturers of these items, are in many cases unaware of Unregistered Design Rights and that directly copying a component infringes STYLIDEAS Rights.

Unregistered Community design rights subsist in the STYLPRO as follows:

1. The shape and dimensions of the STYLPRO as a whole.

   8. To function these tubes could be any length, outer and inner diameter. However Tom Pellereau decided upon these dimensions. It is very difficult to explain why anyone would end up with exactly the same dimensions, had it not been for them directly copying STYLIDEAS Designs.
