FAQs: Spec-tacular EMS & Red LED Under Eye Glasses
Insert the USB cable provided into the port at the bottom of the glasses. Attach to a USB friendly power source. While charging, the indicator lights will flash red. When the device is fully charged the indicator lights will flash green.
It may take up to 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
You should not use the Spec-tacular Glasses on dry skin. EMS is less effective on dry skin. If you do not feel any sensation then you will need to add more serum to the skin.
It is normal to feel light electric shock sensation when using the device. The more moist the skin, the stronger the feeling. The EMS should be mild, it should not be causing any pain or discomfort. If you are feeling discomfort, please lower the intensity setting.
The Spec-tacular Glasses features a 10 minute automatic turn off feature. This allows for the perfect skin care session.
The Spec-tacular Glasses feature 2 settings. Intensity and frequency settings. There are 3 intensity settings and 2 frequency settings.
EMS stands for Electrical Muscle Stimulation.
To change the EMS intensity setting, simply tap the intensity to switch between settings. Always start on intensity setting 1.
To change the EMS frequency setting, simply tap the on/off button to switch between settings. There are 2 frequency settings, continuous and pulse.
We recommend to conduct a light sensitivity test prior to using the Spec-tacular EMS & Red LED Under Eye Glasses on your face. To conduct a light sensitivity test, simply turn on the device and place over your arm and conduct a 10 minute treatment. After 10 minutes, visually check the area to see if it has turned red. If this lasts for more than 2 hours, your skin may have a sensitivity to light. We do not recommend using this device if you have a light sensitivity.
